Adds a monday.com automation to scan images from asset columns for QR codes and insert the QR code value into a connected text or tags column.

A flat rate of $6 per month.

How To Use

These are instructions to use the pre-made template to automatically scan QR codes as they are uploaded, inserting the value into a column you create.
It is also possible to use the automation in other ways that may fit your use-case better, but that is not detailed here.

Note: When using the Tags column, when a new tag is created the column will appear empty initially. Reload monday.com for the values to appear.

1. Create an Asset/File column on the board you are wanting QR scanning to occur
2. Create either a Text column or a Tags column on the same board for the output of the scanned QR code
3. Open the Automations for the board by clicking on "Automate" in the top right of monday.com
4. Change the tab located at the top of the page to Templates
5. Search for QR Code and click on the result
6. Click Use template and fill in the two columns you have created
   • column & File Image Column indicating the same Asset/File column you created
   • QR code result output indicating the Text or Tags column you created
7. Finish by clicking Add To Board
